Why trust these numbers

Every figure is traced to a named source and carries the date it was checked. eBay’s rates were read from eBay: selling fees on 19 September 2026, and the eBay calculator carries that date next to its result. The Etsy rates were cross-checked on 21 September 2026 against several independent references, which agreed on every figure: $0.20 to list, 6.5% on the total the buyer pays, and 3% + $0.25 processing for US sellers. Etsy: Fees & Payments Policy blocks automated checks, so unlike eBay those figures have not been read from Etsy’s own page; treat them as a starting point and enter the rates from your own Payment account. Every fee is an editable input for exactly that reason. The site is built and maintained by a small independent team, and is not affiliated with Etsy, Inc. or eBay Inc. Rates are re-checked when a marketplace announces a change and at least twice a year otherwise. Found a number that is wrong? Tell us on the contact page and include the fee page you are reading.
